Two women move focused and stoic, utilising the down to earth nature of walking with Spider Boots. The Spider Boot (Antipersonnel Mine Foot Protection System) is a foot protection device with a platform creating distance from the source of the blast. It is used when someone is trapped in a landmine field and a rescue operation is initiated. Wearing this footwear as well as a hula skirt and coconut bra, TBL follows a movement pattern of walking, sitting, standing and dancing that is repeated over and over again im a seemingly endless loop.
